[Massive lag when using the M.O.L.E. for extended periods.]

So, I have noticed an issue while hollowing out the map. When I use the M.O.L.E. to clear away chunks of the map, the lag starts to build up. If I stay tabbed into the game, the lag buildup is slower, but it's still noticable. If I tab out of the game and back in a bunch of times, the lag buildup is much more rapid. After a couple of hours, the game is unplayable and I need to relaunch it.

This issue also occurs if I am rapidly deconstructing large amounts of items and tabbing in and out of the game.

I had assumed it was my computer until I rebuilt the Limestone Warehouse and tabbed out multiple times throughout the day, and the game was still running smoothly.
