Ability to lock the bulk-erase tool selection to not expand vertically

I'd like to be able to replace large areas of 1x1 power floor with the new/larger calcite tiles, but ( at least on XBox Series X ) I can't select the floors without the erase tool also automatically selecting everything on top of them, machines, belts, inserters etc, no matter how carefully I try and do it. Can we get a more controllable mass-erase selector box so we can do this delete them put the new floors in underneath everything? The 5x5 calcite tiles are large enough that occasionally I might single-delete one ( even with things on it ) to get at something underneath then put it back under the machinery with no harm done, but the 1x1 power floors - nope.

Either this or allow the replacer to swap platforms and power floors freely; use it to mark out what the player wants swapped, then when the GUI comes up it gives the options of power floors, 1x1 platforms, 3x3 platforms, and 5x5 platforms.

You have to end on either the side of a floor block or the underside. Otherwise it deletes what's on the floor with it.
